The Vancouver area is served by two main school districts. The Vancouver School District covers most of west Vancouver, while the Evergreen School District covers most of east Vancouver.

Clark College (two year) - Clark College is a community college, providing a variety of associate degrees, general adult education and preparation for four-year university degrees. Clark College has historically had well-regarded programs in nursing, dental hygiene and industrial arts such as welding and auto maintenance.
Washington State University, Vancouver - WSU is a major public research university, with a mission of teaching, research and public service. This University offers more than 200 fields of study, and has regional campuses in Vancouver (WSU Vancouver), Spokane (WSU Spokane), and the Tri-Cities (WSU Tri-Cities).
