Each Fourth of July, Vancouver hosts a fireworks display on the grounds of Fort Vancouver National Historic Site that draws many people to the city. The display typically runs for 45 minutes, and is the largest west of the Mississippi River.

Battle Ground Lake State Park
This 280-acre state park is located 2 miles northeast of Battle Ground on 28-acre lake. Facilities include hiking trails, boat launch, picnic shelters, play meadow, play equipment, drive-in and walk-in camp sites, parking, restrooms, and caretaker. Battle Ground Lake is the second Washington state park, after Fort Canby on the Southwest Washington coast, to offer rentable cabins. Each cabin measures 13 feet by 13 feet, is furnished with bunk beds that sleep three, a full-size bed, overhead light, heater and locking doors. It includes a covered porch, picnic table, fire grill and utility hookup, with bathrooms and showers nearby.
Fisher Basin Community Park
Fisher Basin Community Park is a 12-acre community park. Facilities include play equipment, picnic tables, tennis courts, sports fields, and an open lawn area. For a fun, family outing, visit one of your neighborhood parks!
